Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a B&B RV gravity water inlet hatch with thumb lock in black color. So folks, a gravity water hatch helps you fill your RV's fresh water tank. It does include the spout and the cap, and there's no, it's a no barb connection, so you'll be able to twist this off. I've got it in there pretty tight.
It's not connected, so it's hard to turn right now. I apologize for that. But there's no barb here. It's just a simple connection. It's designed to be an exact direct OEM replacement.
It is a UV stable exterior, so it's guaranteed not to fade by the manufacturer and it's resistant to impacts and road salt and those kind of things. You do get the installation materials needed for install. You get the roll of butyl tape. If you've never used this stuff, it's kinda like a putty and that would go around the perimeter here on the cutout. And then the screws that are included with the black paint to match would simply go through the screw holes and then whenever they tighten up against the wall of the RV, camper, or whatnot, that butyl tape's gonna make a nice watertight seal.
Some quick dimensions. Overall, I got six and a half inches long by about six inches tall. On the cutout, I got four and three quarter inches in length by four and one quarter inches tall overall. Well folks, I think that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
.
Guess what I ordered came in good shape and very quick
